About Benjamin

I am a mathematics major from Amherst College with over five years of tutoring experience, and I genuinely love helping students succeed. Throughout my tutoring career, all of my students have seen substantial improvements in both their understanding and performance. Watching students grow in confidence and clarity is what motivates me most!

I bring an enthusiastic, supportive, and structured approach to every session. Math becomes far more approachable when concepts truly make sense, and I focus on breaking down material in a clear and engaging way that encourages questions and ultimately builds confidence. My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them feel capable and confident figuring out problems on their own.

About the lesson

I have always strived for excellence in my studies and want to invoke that same drive in others. I believe academics are the key to success, and learning is one of the most valuable investments we can make in ourselves. I work with students of all ages—from young learners to college students and adults—and I truly enjoy helping individuals succeed at every stage of their academic journey. The best part of tutoring for me is witnessing a student's transformation from uncertainty to confidence!

In a typical session, we thoroughly review the topics you’d like to focus on, work through practice problems step by step, and ensure you fully understand both the concepts and the problem-solving process needed to reach the correct answer.

My goal is to empower students with such a strong understanding of the material that they feel confident enough to explain it to others!
