As a math and econ major at Grinnell College, I have developed a tutoring approach that emphasizes problem-solving and critical thinking. I like to encourage my students to engage with the material through interactive discussions, real-world examples, and hands-on activities. My goal is to help them not only understand the concepts but also see the relevance of math in their daily lives.

A typical lesson plan starts with a brief review of the previous session's material before diving into new topics. I like to use a variety of resources, such as textbooks, online tools, and videos, to keep the lessons engaging and informative. I also provide regular practice exercises and assessments to help students measure their progress.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to break down complex concepts into manageable parts and adapt my teaching style to suit the needs of each student. I believe that every student has a unique learning style and I tailor my approach accordingly.

My lessons are suitable for students at all levels up to college. Whether it's preparing for a test, catching up on missed coursework, or exploring advanced topics, I am here to help. I am particularly interested in working with students who are struggling with math or who are looking to improve their performance.
