Teaching methodology and techniques
My teaching approach focuses on identifying each student’s weaker areas and strengthening their understanding from the ground up. I explain concepts in simple, clear language rather than relying on textbook wording, so students can understand the material in a way that makes sense to them.
I focus on:
Breaking down difficult topics into smaller, manageable steps
Explaining concepts in different ways until they become clear
Encouraging students to ask questions and actively participate
Building confidence through regular practice and review
A typical lesson would usually include:
A short review of previous work
Identifying weak areas or topics the student finds difficult
Explaining the concept clearly and step by step
Working through examples together
Assigning homework to reinforce learning for the next session
At the next lesson, I would review the homework, correct mistakes, and continue building on the student’s progress.
What sets me apart is my focus on clarity, patience, and individual support. I do not use a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, I adapt lessons to the student’s pace and needs, making sure they fully understand the topic before moving on.
I also use homework and follow-up review to create a structured learning cycle, which helps students retain what they learn and improve steadily over time.
