About Zarib

I’m Zarib, a passionate math tutor dedicated to helping students succeed in subjects ranging from Algebra 1 to Precalculus and Trigonometry. Over the past three years, I’ve taken summer math courses, participated in MITES (MIT Introduction to Technology, Engineering, and Science), explored advanced concepts through “A Beautiful Math,” and completed Calculus at a community college. These experiences have strengthened my foundation and given me a deep appreciation for the beauty and logic of mathematics.

My approach is built on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I aim to make math feel approachable by breaking down complex ideas into simple steps and connecting them to real-world examples. I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance and support, and I work hard to inspire confidence in their abilities.

I really enjoy mathematics and would love to share my love for the subject with everyone who would like the help.

About the lesson

Hi, I’m Zarib, and I specialize in helping students build confidence and mastery in mathematics, particularly from Algebra 1 through Precalculus and Trigonometry. My goal is to make math feel approachable and logical, no matter your starting point.

A typical lesson is flexible; it might focus on mastering a single concept until it clicks or reviewing exam questions to strengthen problem-solving skills. I believe in clarity and understanding over memorization, breaking down complex ideas into simple, digestible steps, and using real-world examples to make abstract concepts relatable.

What sets me apart is my perspective: I’ve experienced both the challenges of limited resources and the inspiration of exceptional teachers. These experiences, combined with my continuous passion for mathematics, shape the way I want to help tutor.

My lessons are designed for:

• High school students taking Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Precalculus, or Trigonometry.
•College students who need a refresher or support in foundational math courses.
•Anyone preparing for standardized tests that include these topics.
