Hi! I’m Amanda, a Ph.D. student in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a B.S. in Chemistry and a Math minor. I’ve been tutoring math for over two years and love helping students turn frustration into confidence. As someone who’s worked through challenging STEM courses myself, I understand how overwhelming math can feel, but I also know how rewarding it is once it clicks. My goal is to make each lesson clear, encouraging, and tailored to your learning style. I take pride in being patient, reliable, and genuinely invested in your success. My tutoring approach is all about making math feel less intimidating and more doable. I focus on understanding why things work, not just memorizing formulas. I like to break problems into simple, logical steps and connect them to real-world examples so the material actually makes sense.
