My Approach as a Tutor
Teaching Method & Techniques
I focus on conceptual understanding first, ensuring students grasp the "why" behind formulas and theorems before diving into problem-solving. I use:
Step-by-step explanations to break down complex topics
Real-world applications to make abstract concepts relatable
Visual aids & interactive problem-solving for clarity
Tailored lessons based on the student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning style
Typical Lesson Plan
Each session follows a structured yet flexible approach:
Concept Introduction: Brief review of key principles with real-life examples
Guided Problem-Solving: Working through problems together, explaining strategies
Student-Led Practice: Encouraging independent problem-solving with my guidance
Q&A & Summary: Addressing doubts, summarizing key takeaways, and planning next steps
What Sets Me Apart?
Strong Academic Background: B.S. in Engineering Physics & M.S. in Applied Mathematics from KTH, Royal Institute of Technology (Sweden)
Focus on Intuition & Logical Thinking: I don’t just teach formulas—I help students think like mathematicians
Patience & Adaptability: I adjust my approach based on each student’s learning pace
Exam & Homework Help: I provide strategies for tackling tests with confidence
