As a K-12 mathematics tutor, my approach is centered on building confidence and conceptual understanding by demystifying math as a language of logic rather than a set of rules to memorize. I employ a student-centered, adaptive method that begins with diagnosing foundational gaps and use visual models and real-world analogies to explain the why before the how. A typical session blends a warm-up, guided discovery of new concepts, practice, and real-world application, all within a supportive environment that treats mistakes as valuable learning tools. What sets me apart is my focused expertise in alleviating math anxiety and my ability to tailor lessons for all levels, from elementary number sense through high school Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus, including targeted test preparation. My ultimate goal is to empower each student to become a resilient and independent problem-solver.
