Hi, I’m Yihang. My college prep lessons follow a simple loop: clarity, practice, and feedback. I translate complex ideas into plain language, model solutions out loud, and use visual organizers to show how each step connects. Then we apply the concept to realistic tasks—exam-style questions, mini-mocks, or essay prompts—so you learn by doing, not memorizing.
A typical session starts with a quick check-in on goals and deadlines, followed by a focused walkthrough of one high-impact concept. We move into guided practice where I prompt your reasoning and help you build a repeatable approach. We finish with a brief timed drill or draft segment and a concise plan for what to practice next. After each lesson you’ll receive structured notes, a short recap, and a progress scorecard that makes improvement measurable.
What sets me apart is an accessibility-first teaching style—clear pacing, captioned or written recaps, and flexible strategies for different learning preferences—plus calm, actionable feedback that builds confidence. My lessons are designed for high school juniors and seniors, as well as first-year college students preparing for admissions essays, placement tests, AP/IB support, or bridge courses in math, economics, and Python.
