About Angela
I have been studying violin since the age of seven and have over two years of teaching experience. I am currently in my second year as a member of the Toronto Youth Symphony Orchestra (TSYO) and have performed with the TSYO on numerous occasions. I have had the privilege of performing with world-renowned conductors, including Toronto Symphony Orchestra Chief Conductor Gustavo Gimeno and former TSYO conductor Simon Rivard (currently conductor of the Edmonton Opera). During my time in Canada, I was trained by Professor Zhao Xi at the Central Conservatory of Music, and also studied at the Shenyang Conservatory of Music with Prof. Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM): Recipient of ARCT certificate in violin performance, passed all levels of music theory exam.
